DOROTHEE SCHNEIDER DRESSAGE HORSE & BUSINESS: CELEBRITIES She wanted to be a vet, then a bank clerk. However, she chose what her family had been doing for years – training and breeding horses. She stood on theOlympic podium twice – for the first time in London in 2012, winning silver medal in the Diva Royal dres - sage team competition, again – in 2016 in Rio de Janeiro, where she reached for gold. Today he teaches others, trains and sells horses. He wants to convey his skills and experience to the best of her ability, based on the basics of classic riding, so that they can experience harmony with horses more fully. Which victories in your career are of special importance to you? Dorothee Schneider: At least every success or victory with a horse is special because it’s the result and validation of your daily work. But trend setting were the medals at the Olympics, WEG‘s and Europeans. What is the most fascinating thing about training/ / training horses and riders? D.S.: Most fascinating is the fact that two human beings have to melt together to an entity. Without this symbiosis there will be no success. Why dressage? D.S.: Because dressage is art and needs the ability to become an entity of horse and rider. Is it said about you that you have the gift to find unique talented horses? How does it happend? Is it only the art of training? D.S.: It’s a mixture of three ingredients.
